Digital Fleet Management Breakthrough 2020

Sergey Kulakov, a new commercial director of MONTRANS LLC, commented on the recent achievements of the company and pointed out its goals for 2021.

“When I first came to MONTRANS I was astonished by the smoothness of automated internal processes here. It is a sign of efficiency, allowing us to offer our clients cutting edge-solutions. In 2020 the company managed to boost the figures even more. Now MONTRANS is one of the largest companies in digital fleet management, providing services throughout Russia. Our team consists of 80 employees. This year we have introduced two important solutions, MONTRANS DVR and MONTRANS Analytics. The driver support system MONTRANS DVR helps people avoid dangerous situations and accidents on the road, providing company managers with reports and ratings. The cloud monitoring service MONTRANS Analytics simplifies financial and technical administration tasks by consolidating all data under a single management standard. As a result, the management receives consolidated analytical reports, which do not depend on human factor. This solution allows you to control costs and helps to solve related problems maintaining the efficiency of the company,” explains the commercial director of MONTRANS LLC.

“Before releasing MONTRANS Analytics, we tested it ourselves. About two years ago, we started developing a solution for analytics based on a large amount of data. First, we analysed our own workflow. We connected the sales department to CRM system and collected data on our employees, concerning the efficiency of their work. Taking into consideration the results, we managed to improve the productivity. Thus, we can guarantee, that the solution, which we offer to our clients, is useful and reliable, transparent, and easy to manage. MONTRANS Analytics helped us live through hard times and show impressive results at the end of the year. Definitely, we can predict an increase by 20 or 30% next year. A lot depends on managers, whose task is to show our customers how valuable the solution is and support clients during operation. For better performance, we organize advanced training for our employees. It first took place in the Moscow office, now we offer this course to our regional managers and partner managers. The training lasts for 5 days and covers everything one should know about the enterprise including new solutions, communication between our departments, and internal programs such as CRM and 1C. Such a collaborative work is a key to success. This is how we manage to meet clients’ needs.

“We have set some challenging goals for the next year. First and foremost, It’s active growth. We have three factors that will help us here. These are new IT products: the MONTRANS DVR driver assistance system and the MONTRANS Analytics platform. It uses the data from basic monitoring systems, and, accordingly, the second factor of success is the data filtering and validation system. This software solution works with any fleet management and creates analytical reports on the basis of the data received. Well, the third important factor is people.
