WATER EXTRACTORS FROM ATMOSPHERIC AIR

Extraction complexes of water from atmospheric air operate in a wide range of environmental parameters with absolute humidity from 3 to 80 g/m3. In regions with arid and semi-arid climates, in certain local territories characterized by modified environmental parameters, the complex has no analogues in the world.

As you know, in arid and semi-arid areas, the absolute humidity of the air is very low – up to 10 g/m³, which does not allow extracting water from the atmospheric air in sufficient quantities. The developed 'OASIS' system extracts water from the atmospheric air, taking into account the influence of environmental parameters, using the features of the climate, landscape, and soil of specific locations in arid and semi-arid regions.

The extractor's performance depends on the climatic conditions and the volume of air passing through the system. The projected results of the project will allow organizing water supply in water-deficient areas and improve the living standards of the population.

Since 2020, the MONTANS team has been working on the development of an atmospheric water extractor for operation in hot and dry climates, under the following climatic conditions:

  • ambient temperature of 12-50°C,
  • relative humidity of 10-90%,
  • absolute humidity of 4-75g/m3

On the topic of atmospheric water extraction, the authors hold over 18 Russian patents and 1 foreign patent."
